Presented below is the sanctioned timeline encompassing vital details from all United Nations Generations. This chronology has been endorsed and formalized by the Legacy Committee.
st Generation Game - Halo: 3 and Halo: Reach. Timeframe - June 28, 2010 - September, 2011. Leadership - ShadowSniper172 (founder); DeDoubleU (founder); General JB172; UN Overlord; GeneraL LEGENDz. Description - This Generation began at the founding of the Clan and included its transition onto Halo: Reach; it lasted for over one year and was marked by a high population and an unrivalled media and political dominance throughout the Community.
nd Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - September, 2011 - February 11, 2012. Leadership - General JB172. Description - The launch of this Generation began at the initiation of 'Project Rebuild', a recruitment drive in response to ShadowSniper172 and most other UN members and officers exiting the Clan, leaving it with little more than a full lobby.
rd Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - Mid February, 2012 - Fall of 2012. Leadership - General JB172. Description - This Generation began following the UN-Unicom conflict, which saw many UN members and officers exit the Clan, leaving it with a very small amount of members left, who initiated a second reconstruction project.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - Fall of 2012 - October 4, 2012. Leadership - General JB172. Description - The UN rebuilt substantially in this Generation, reaching over 100 members again. As his inactivity decreased, JB delegated more and more to his officers. The end of this Generation saw the UN in conflict with SOG and Navcom, before its end on October 4, 2012, at 16:20 EST.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - October 2012 - November 2012. Leadership - UndefiedThunder. Description - The UN members remaining at the end of the Clan wished to continue it under the name 'United Nations Global'.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - 2013. Leadership - xBlackRose FTWx -> Sgt Dornan & OMEGA ELITE 357 -> Vash of Reach Description - The UN is re-established by numerous former-officers, spurred by xBlackRose FTWx and spitting snail. Both claimed to have received permission to restart the Clan, luring many back. This Generation was the first official restart of the UN; the influx and support of many former officers saw the Clan rise to over 60 members in just one week. Eventually, xBlackRose FTWx named Sgt Dornan (UndefiedThunder) his successor, who later named Vash of Reach his successor, before the Clan eventually ended.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - 2013. Leadership - Sgt Dornan. Description - Regretful of the end of the very successful 6th Generation, Sgt Dornan and several other officers decided to restart the Clan again. Though not as many officers joined as in the previous generation, the UN again quickly rose to over 60 members. Following several months of high activity, the collective decision was made to end the Clan once again.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - 2013. Leadership - iSlayer. Description - iSlayersaurusUK and Vash of Reach were approached by three individuals - Rogue Mantakree, Retro Ant, and Jake B117 - who stated they wished to restart the UN. This spurred both to launch a third effort to restart the UN, in what would be the 8th Generation. The Clan, once again, rose in popularity quickly, and made several innovative strides, such as upgrading UNAR training and incorporating a UN Competitive Team. But at this point, Halo: Reach was barren of activity and boredom began to set in with the lack of external events. After several months, the decision was made to merge into a close ally, the DGA.
th Generation Game - Halo: Reach. Timeframe - 2014. Leadership - Oh Yes Bryce. Description - In 2014, former UN Army Lieutenant, Oh Yes Bryce, received the blessings of several retired flag officers to reestablish the UN. On the day of its creation, Bryce swiftly gathered a complete lobby of members within a matter of hours. Despite its brevity, lasting just one week, such rapid growth serves as a powerful testament to the enduring popularity and influence of the UN. 10th Generation Game - Halo: MCC. Timeframe - 2020. Leadership - Vash of Reach & Johnson172 Description - During the long period between 9th and 10th Generation, General JB172 decided to legitimize the 8th Generation of the UN. Following this move, Vash of Reach and Johnson172 were granted official license to restart the Clan. This was by-far the longest surviving restart of the UN, last over one year and operating on an entirely new game - MCC. Following a spate of low activity, the Clan was ended in 2021.
th Generation Game - Halo: MCC. Timeframe - 2021. Leadership - Doc Valdez Description - Shortly after the end of the 10th Generation, Doc Valdez (formerly xBlackRose FTWx) applied to Vash of Reach for permission to restart the UN. This Generation was marked by exceptional divergence from the traditions of the original Clan, replacing most branches with new equivalents. Though some very old faces returned under Doc's leadership, the Generation was marked by internal political strife and was locked into a feud with former-8th Generation leadership. After a few months, this Generation came to a close.
